It was another beautiful morning in Japan as we set out to visit the Tokyo Imperial Palace. The Palace, home to the Emperor of Japan, is set in a beautiful park surrounded by moats and massive stone walls. The architecture is stunning. Ornate and charming just as I imagined it would be. The inner grounds of the Palace are inaccessible to visitors, but the surrounding gardens and temples were just as beautiful. We walked for hours here soaking in the incredible history. Although our visit was a little early in the season, we did see the start of the cherry blossoms. What few trees we saw were stunning, and I hope to return one day soon to see them in full bloom!
